Portability from New Zealand

For those registered with the New Zealand Register of Exercise Professionals (NZREPs) the below portable registration transfers are available.
  1. An NZREPS Personal Trainer Contractor can register as an AUSactive Personal Trainer
  2. An NZREPS Group Exercise – Own Choreography can register as an AUSactive Group Exercise Instructor
  3. An NZREPS Exercise Consultant Level 2 or Personal Trainer Employee can register as an AUSactive Gym Instructor
  4. An NZREPS Group Exercise – Prechoreographed can register as an AUSactive Group Exercise Leader
To register with AUSactive you must also provide:
Proof of current professional registration or a letter of portability from NZREPs 
A valid Australian Nationally Accredited First Aid and CPR Certificate.

Trans-Tasman portability Agreement

Take the remaining term of your current NZ REPs registration with you to AUSactive.

How it works if you are moving from New Zealand to Australia:
  1. Complete a registration application with AUSactive and do not submit payment.
  2. Email your current registration certificate from NZREPS and proof of your new address to confirm you have permanently moved to Australia – e.g utility bill, drivers licence, rates bill to AUSactive.
  3. The remaining term of your current registration (up to 12 months) will be credited to your new registration for the same registration level.
