What is the National Infrastructure Database?

Supported by a cross-industry group including state governments, national bodies and a selection of leisure and sport planning consultants, the National Infrastructure Database (NID) provides access to localised demographic and community profile data, all delivered through an interactive mapping tool.

Featuring 30,000+ sport, leisure, fitness & recreation sites, the NID provides all users with a common and open data repository for adding and managing relevant infrastructure information saving time and cost on duplication of efforts throughout the sector. There is an analysis dashboard with basic benchmarking to show how infrastructure levels in each area align with the total population, and how this compares with neighbouring councils.

Access to the National Infrastructure Database is available to all AUSactive Sole-Trader and Business Members
